Make it stop, tears taste like blood
Why can’t we master compassion?
We share the same DNA.
Killing, guns, war, we pretend we are safe
No one’s safe, death is dependable, our reality.
Gone is the city of love, Dead.
Killing, shooting, wasting breaths.
Mom’s, Sister’s, Brother’s gone forever.
We are all one, lost in anguish.
Can’t we see, it’s just hurt guiding us to war.
Why are we killing on pretenses?
Lost in words, religious beliefs.
Can’t we make it stop, we can make it stop.
Am I abandoned in the desire for peace?
Where did these holy souls get lost?
Am I the only one lost in this disgust,
Why? What is color? Religion?
It’s Divine beauty, every scent I smell, or colour I see.
We are one, one being, one soul, one connect.
Yet, you will blame, pull them out from inside.
I’m infinitely lost in this world of hostility.
When did we determine to hate?
A race is lost; this race isn’t human.
It’s broken and forgetful, gross and inhumane.
Human Race, what a satire.
One people seems lost, on me, on you.
On all that will pose blame.
It’s not about responsibility; but brazen thoughts.
We won’t all come together; a blame will be played.
Let’s change that, show compassion for all.
It isn’t it our job to race, but to preserve.
Come together in pain, in destruction.
My courage breaks, desperate for resolution.
I need your coöperation, your fortitude.
Let’s become one, one race, one people.
One care, One hope, and most of all, one world.
I don’t pray for one, I hope for all.
Let’s change this world, we are the only ones that can. It’s on us, the race, the human one.
